5. Final Assignment for Unit II Religions and Philosophies in East Asia Final Assignment for Unit II Religions and Philosophies in East Asia
We started this unit with your giving a personal declaration of faith. In this final assignment you are to take your curiosity further. You are to at least create a list of questions which you would use to interview a person from either China or Japan (non-Korean) to determine to what extent their life and world view is influenced by the teachings of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism or any other belief system, i.e. Shintoism, Christianity, Islam, etc.
In order to get full marks, you will have to actually interview a person via email etc. and record the dialogue in some way. Otherwise you will have to develop a set of questions that can be asked and publish those on your wikispace.
This is worth 25 marks for the recorded interview. Nineteen for the questions (dependent on quality).
You might be able to locate a willing participant by searching for one on http://www.epals.com/
Due next class.
